To test:
Increase vehicle speed to above 62 mph and allow transmission to shift into final high gear with TC in lockup, then on a hill or incline while staying above 58 mph in high gear with TC in lockup try to accelerate vehicle to a faster speed.
If TC is bad, it will shudder as clutches inside TC start to slip and chatter...much like a straight shift clutch slipping....
