yes this is my first post..i have been reading the forum for awhile. My CRD has been run hard, 236000 plus, yeah it breaks, but I love that torque, So since the jeep is finally pd off. I started doing the mods and repairs..
List of repairs, to long. I say it is pretty much brand new, mods air oil separator, samco hoses, sasquatch egr delete, Green diesel eco tune, and hot tune, Air shocks in rear, K&N filter. installing a PATC Torque Converter, Green diesel trans tune, and oversized transmission pan, and I'm engineering a second Sway bar to be installed. over xmas 2016.

My problem now is that the increased power overpowers the brakes and front suspension, So I'm ordering the EBC Brake Kit, and I'm trying to find stiffer front suspension..Has anyone had any success finding a strut that is able to handle the extra weight of the diesel, and better performance of the mods? :pepper: :JEEPIN:

Struts ( actually shocks since we do not technically have struts ) do not hold any weight, heavier springs do and the only ones that work well are OME. Stock spring weight for a CRD is 410 lb, the ones I always suggest using are the OME 790s rated at 500 lb. But they also give lift.
Now you have that info , I'll let you in on a secret , you're in the KK section ( 08-12)
I'll move you when I have a bit of time
