2005 Liberty CRD
Can anyone tell me what solenoid is needed to repair a P1140 code, I believe it might be this part http://www.idparts.com/vacuum-solenoid- ... -3211.html but want to be sure before ordering. Also have a P1263 which is cyl2 glow plug, I think replacing this glow plug should solve the problem.

P1140 is for FCV in the stock intake elbow.
You can ignore it. Not worth fixing that part.
Folks who have deleted the FCV and EGR load a ECM tune to eliminate the code.

Do still have the factory original ceramic glow plugs?
If so, you should replace all of them with metal ones.

Yes, I have bosch 5 v glow plugs, also have the weeks stage 1 elbow.
I am getting a good deal smoke out the tail pipe under full throttle, its not jet black, more of grey color.
