My 04 Liberty came with 215/75/R16 Crappy Years....

Was that a standard tire size back then?.. as everyone talks of 225/75, and 235/75 and stock sizes...

just wondering...

I've heard (and seen now thanks to nickmv) that some Sports of the early model years came with 215s standard.....

Correct. My '03 KJ Sport came with horrible Goodyear Wranger ST's in 215/75R16. Worst tire I've ever driven on. I'm finally replacing them next week with a real all-terrain tire. The Wrangler ST's on a Liberty are just plain dangerous. My wife and I have both experienced 180-degree spins in light snow, and you have to idle away from a Stop sign on rainy roads to avoid fishtailing while you turn. Avoid these tires at all costs!

I had to put up with them too. I've got a brand new spare too, if anyone wants it. Maybe a trade for some MT/R's?
