Does anyone have a viscous heater they do not need. One with pooched clutch coil would be fine. I just need the thing for an idler pulley anyway. Heater is disabled on my CRDs. Mine suffered a bearing failure that pretty much destroyed the whole clutch and pulley. I have a replacement bearing, but nothing to work with. ironically, the heater itself is fine. Thanks in advance.

Look into a dorman ac compressor Bypass pulley, there is on that will work for cheap and the bearing is replaceable if it ever goes out

If you happen to be able to track down the part number a lot of people on Lost would be grateful.

If I had my lathe and mill set up in my new shop, I would be fabbing an idler pulley up.

I did one for a customer a few years ago, I forget the part number but I have 2 low mileage spares for my rigs that I can use for specs, I will find the numbers for yalls. I like them on my rigs so I have instant heat in the winter.

A Gates 36167 should work nicely with a fabricated bracket, spacer and bolt. $32 from Rock Auto. Steel pulley instead of plastic. It is only slightly smaller diameter than the original clutch so should not require a different belt (approx. 1/2" shorter). This is actually from a Mack or Volvo rig. The Mack part is about $100 but includes the bolt and spacer, which would have to be massaged to fit anyway.
