Another big difference is the GDE aftermarket turbo is electronically controlled . It does not depend on the vacuum solenoid etc.

Both of you are correct. The turbo GDE uses for it's turbo kit is indeed another Garrett, but it is a later generation turbo that spools up faster and provides more boost on the top end.

Needing a turbo for a 2005 that I just bought, I got the GDE full torque program but just can't pull the 2,500 bucks for their turbo.

So, I went with an upgraded one from Sasquatch.....

There's nothing upgraded about them. Nothing more than a clone with a billet wheel.

Didn't say it wasn't good, alot of people are using them, i just wish they wouldn't use the term "upgrade" when it's exact same as factory.
