Hello, currently rebuilding an 05 and I need to source the engine block to oil supply line compression fitting.. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have been to the usual sites, Mopar Parts Giant, ID etc and am either not looking in the right area or they don't have it.

Anyone have a source or cross reference for this?

Thanks.

Are you talking about the hard rubber like piece at the end of that line where it enters engine block?

No Sir. That is the rubber grommet for the oil RETURN line.

I need the compression fitting that screws into the block and has the threads that the OIL SUPPLY LINE attaches to.

I wish there was an easy way to attach a pic..

Thanks

The oil feed line attaches to the block at a fitting that looks sort of like part of a "ball and socket" joint that's screwed into the block. Why someone would have removed the one from the engine you are working on totally escapes me but in any case what you need is PN 5066814-AA ($7.50) and the associated washer 24030016 ($1.85). Those prices are what I paid at my local DCJ dealer some years ago so they are likely outdated.

Thank you very much for that information. With it, I was able to find this at Mopar Parts Giant.

I am the one that removed the fitting. I am installing a new turbo with all new lines and this Jeep had been hacked on well before I got it. The previous turbo install was sloppy at best with leaks at the return and supply.

They had cross threaded this compression fitting and I did not want to try to force a new supply line on the gummed up threads.

Cheers,
