.........I just enjoy putting my Liberty up on jackstands. Today the Powertrax NoSlip was installed. Was planning on doing a write up on the install, but on one of my breaks I noticed there was already one in the tech section, plus Richmond's Powertrax instructions are easy to follow. Anyway here are some install pics:

Here it is buttoned up with Rusty's diff armor:

Don't tell my wife I was using her tupperware as a drain pan. Forgot to get one this morning from the parts store.

Drove it around and didn't here any of the clunks and clicks associated with lockers. It's evident it's there just accelerating in a straight line on asphalt.

Tomorrow's project is this:

Thanks again to BenMar2000 for selling me his and ordering another set from JeepinAl! I couldn't wait and Ben was a great sport to facilitate my parts fix.

Ohh, dont worry, the noises will come! Its not really that bad after you get used to it. If you are heavy on the gas it will make many more noises. In parking lots and things it may pop and carry on.

Over 11,000 miles, and I haven't had so much as a peep out of mine.

ok, this is a little off-topic, so i appologize in advance, but i didn't feel a whole new thread was neccessary. Is the factory limited slip anything like this to install, where i won't need to remove the ring gear, hence not having to reset the backlash? Or will i need a proffesional shop to install it? Thanks

How did the A Arms install go? How much of a difference did they make?

Ben

I didn't do the A arms yesterday, rain and sunburn from Friday. I'm thinking of doing them today. Depends how motivated I feel after coffee.

Savage, I don't know anything about the Powertrax Trac-Loc install.
