 Post subject: leak on the front diff????

hey guys. i need to make sure i have the right part.. i have a leak at the imput of my front diff. where the yoke goes into the diff. the only problem that i am haveing is that the pic looks like it has 4 bolt holes. and mine is rounded and seems to have more?? take a look at the pic

hey mine seems to be leaking at the same place i went to the dealer and they said its a pain in the booty. i also seemed to have messed up my transfr case somehow because the chain sounds like its dragging on the bottom of the case

Kind of hard to tell from the pic. Is it the pinion seal thats leaking? Mine was leaking at just under 60K on the ODO. My dealer fixed it under the 7/70 so I only had to pay $100 for the deductable.

I had to remove my tranny skid also. The stealership could have done it, but they would have charged me $78/hour to take it off and then put it back on again.

i have the same thing happening with my 02 spot kj. did it end up being a tuff job? i would like to get this fixed before i put in my skids to make things easer. i also have a small leak on the transfer case. do you have the same issue?
