Howdy.
It's been a while since I last posted (too many issues to explain.) The 05 CRD has been a reliable work truck before I retired for the second time. After retirement, it transported me to Albuquerque and Santa Fe many times for treatments. Last winter 2020 I replaced almost everything in the front end Now I'm troubleshooting rich running and oil dribbles on the passenger(right) side and rear of the engine. Having done a massive amount of research on the 05's inability to communicate with most scanners. I've come across some information geeks like myself may find interesting. When I was having some ABS issues I found Garage Pro. You will be able to access ALL modules. This is how I found That I needed another ECM. I was getting a U code (can't remember exactly what it was) but it was having comm issues on the cam buss
