Search the forum and can't find the info. What is the oil pressure on a warm engine at idle?

I don't have a oil pressure gauge, but this info is in the FSM:
Minimum Oil Pressure (Warm)
0.7 Bar (10 psi.) at Idle
2 Bar (29 psi) at 3800 rpm

I have a gauge and I see 15-17 psi with the engine warm at idle. If it's really hot in the summer with AC running it might dip to 14. 2000 rpm pressure is about 34. This is with XW-40 oils.

Mine ate a glow plug tip around 160k, and now at 230k is getting low pressure light for a couple of seconds after start up, cold engine, new sensor. The innards of the oil pump are aluminum, and they aren't my favorite to change out.

Do you remember what the treads are for the pressure sensor?

I think it was just 1/8" NPT. I got a common brass Tee to add my sensor along side the factory one.

18 psi hot on Mobile 1 5W-40, 20 psi hot on 10W-40 Amsoil oil. 101K miles. 90 psi cold startup. Same as when it was new.

For hotter climate locations, you may want to consider running 15W40 diesel rated oil as some of us have been doing for several years now.

Hey Ranger1, nice to see you post on the forum! :D :D
