Hi everyone,

Since few days my kJ 2.8crd is unable to start. The anti theft red led is on ans after 5sec a lot of warning led light on (water in fuel filter, ETK, airbag, MIL...).

It seem (for me) to be a BSI bug because my battery is ok, i clean all the ground contact of the car, the 2 big connector of the ECU...

What do you think about this ?

Sincerely

Do you have a fresh battery in the key?
Is it the correct key? (reason I ask is because I have multiple CRD's and the keys can interchange but the code will not.

It's the right key (i have only one Jeep), ans i don't think my problem come from the key because i have multiple warning (airbag, water in fuel filter, ETK, MIL...) in the same time...

I removed the ECU and the BSI to clean all the connections. I also remove the dashboard, but i'm not sure that i can remove the gauge needle pointer without break something... Did someone already remove there needles ? Can anybody tell me how to do (in a secure way) ?

I want to spray contact cleaner on the two faces of the dashboard PCB.

This happened to a local the other day. How did you fix yours?

This exact scenario happened to me on Friday. I can’t find engine scanner, so no idea of what codes have even thrown. Anyone have any ideas of the cause?

Also make sure the battery is fully charged and healthy.
