Also will the EVIC tire pressure still work?
Yes they will. I changed to rubicon rims (from an '04) and had ntb mount the sensors while they remounted the tires on the new rims. It was only a few extra bucks per wheel beyond the normal mounting cost. I bought most of my sensors off of ebay, but i haven't seen any listed recently. I got my fifth sensor from one of those trademotion driven mopar parts sites, and paid around 55 dollars for the sensor and valve stem nut. There was no wait beyond the shipping time, but things may have changed in the nine months since i ordered the parts.
Even tho i have an '05 KJ, my evic came out of an '04, so therefore i needed sensors from an '04. I installed the evic a month before i got my sensors. In that time, I didn't get the idiot light on the dash, but my evic did give me a missing sensor/low tire pressure message on startup. I hit the C/T button once and i didn't get it again until the next start.
