Just curious if anyone has done a write up on mounting REVERSE facing lights on their roof baskets? I'm looking to add some lights to the rear of my basket and having them angle towards the ground a bit and wondering if someone could lead me in the right direction of wiring and mounting. I have a fab shop I can go to to get mounting brackets done, no problem, the only issue I'd have is the wiring pretty much. I'm not thinking of drilling through the roof but rather putting it under the roof rails perhaps and then through the rubber seal for the rear glass and then lining it through the carpet and up under the dash, etc, etc...anyone got picks perhaps of their light install that they could point in my direction?? Any pointers would be great....THANKS!!!

W3CSX has a very nice setup. His rear facing basket lights come on in reverse and all of his wiring is professional. If you want to find him he is in the Mid-Atlantic.

I plan to add a better reverse light, and I was thinking on the roof bar facing down would be good. But then I would want to use that light as a utility light as well, so it would be bad if it's aimed at the back window (since opening the back hatch and needing a utility light are an expected combination)

You might be able to run your wires through the top brakelight.
