So, about a year ago Sears tells me my rotors are bad and they don't cut rotors. I go to Strauss and they confirm but they WILL cut them. I have it done and the pads replaced. Last 2 months or so I start to get a wobble when braking figure it's: 1-Rotors
2-LBJs
Goto Jeep, they replace the LBJs under the recall. Wobble still there. Back to Strauss today to have brakes checked. (Remember, almost a year since they were replaced). They tell me I need front rotors, too thin to cut because of the warp. I go for the rotors, $237 for both & labor. They replace the pads FREE because they "are under warranty". S'ok by me!
While it's there, guy finds/replaces a leaky tire valve and tightens some bolts on my front suspension that he found loose. (extra $10 incl valve). Not too bad.
Oh, almost forgot. When they did the brakes a year ago there was a $20 rebate. I mailed it in and got the check. because of my own fault I forgot to deposit the check till like 3 months later. The rebate account had already closed so the check bounced. Brought it with me today and they credited it toward this work.
Moral: Deposit those rebate checks ASAP!
