I have been looking all over for a pic of the ignition coil. What's it look like? I have changed spark plugs in a couple of different (older) vehicles but what look like the coils to me on the KJ have me confused. What I think are coils probably aren't. On the drivers side of the engine it looks like 4 coils but I have the 3.7L V6. Shouldn't there be only 3 per side? I have the read up here and it looks very straight forward...I just want a pic with a big "here dummy arrow" pointing to one of the coils so I know where to start. Thanks for your help.

I answered my on question. I just went to the first one and pulled off the little cable tie thingy (that's the tech term, I believe) and pulled it off with a 10 mm socket and there was the spark plug...on the drivers side all the way to the back...there is a 4th (coil thingy) one back there...that's not a plug but what is it?

Here is a pic of it(sorry it's not a better pic but it was all I had)look for the white circle w/3 arrows in the upper center, this is your no#1 coil(pull wires off and 10mm nut and lift up to reveal the spark plug, will need a long extension to remove).Just look for the fuel rails and you can't miss the coils(the wires for the coils sit right above the fuel rails),Hope this helps.Image
