Anyone interested in getting together to get some work done on our Jeeps? I have a Frankenlift coming in the mail and could definitely use some help. I might get some Skink Sliders too. I'm sure there are others out there who could use an extra hand or two. We can certainly do it at my house, but my tools are minimal at best. I can provide burgers and beer as well.

You know I'll help out. Let's get something going, guys. I could use some help with my junk, too. And Kevin makes his own beer.

You pick the day and time and let us know. Some will be able to make it, others won't. Nature of the beast (life).

I'll come and help if the day and time works for me.

If the timing works out, I'll be there too.

Through out some dates, I am off every other weekend, (off this weekend, work next weekend, then off weekend, etc...)

So let us know when your kit gets in and we can pick a date, I have all of the tools you will need, and, it shouldn't take that long, but with it being stock going to lifted, it will take some muscle.

Not to be a kill joy, but...
per the bylaws, Wrench-a-thons are member only functions, so we need to get dues collected...

How does this Saturday sound? 10am-ish? Really, I'm open to anything, even weekday nights. Supposedly, the lift kit should get here this week. If it doesn't get here in time, do other people have work that needs to be done?

We either have this Saturday or Sunday as our LOST Rockies meeting and off-road trip.

Yep, Sunday is the meet/run. I would need to get a sitter for Saturday. Can you find out when your kit is coming in specifically?

If we do it this weekend, I won't be able to make it. I actually have to spend some time with the family sometime this weekend.

How about Sat the 15th of July? I know it is far out, but it gives us all a chance to plan our schedules, and it is my middle day off. With this kit, I would not recomend doing it on a week day evening unless you want to be up late, or can leave it apart until it is done.

Just for me, I'll be playing in a softball tourney on the 15th. Doesn't mean you can't do it. I will be in need of installing a rear bumper once I pay for it and Marty gets it completed. Thena front bumper. Yeah, I know. I wasn't planning on doing the rear, but.......(no pun intended there with back-to-back words0.

Well, the lift didn't arrive as expected. Hopefully next week. As far as a wrench party, how does Sunday the 16th of July sound?

Looks like a day that would work for me, after church. Looks like Ted is off that day. Still want to go wheeling with us before getting a lift put on? We are wheeling just about the next three Sundays straight.

I just talked to All J's. My lift will ship out today (they were waiting for their OME delivery, which they got yesterday) and "should" be here by Friday. My schedule is flexible on weekends; I can work around everyone else's availability. I assume Saturdays are better because of the runs on Sundays....

Rocklizard: Yeah, I'd love to do some runs with you guys before my lift comes in. However, since I already have 245 tires on, I'm worried about my lack of suspension articulation/travel. Should I worry?

You're looking at major rubbing and probably ripping something plastic away from the wheel areas, be it fender-well linings, flares, rivets...I'd wait for the lift 8)

I'm excited!! I finally got my Frankenlift on Wednesday, plus Marty should be done with my SuperSkinks soon. But I need some help with the install, especially with the lift. Can anyone help out next Saturday (the 15th)?? I'll provide the burger, brats, and beer.

Where, What Time, and what tools do you need me to bring....

What all are we going to do, just lift? Skinks? I think to do both will be a hard press in a day.

I live on the east side of Colorado Springs, just north of Peterson AFB. I'll send directions. 10am start time. I've got ramps, a crawler, and basic tools. Better to bring any tools you think we'll need. I'd be happy to just get the lift done. If you guys have anything that needs to be worked on, we can tackle that too.
