I already have both, but I'm torn between the two. My local buddies mostly say chrome, but let's put it to the test with some people that really know Liberty's. I'll work on getting some pics up.

On a side note, blew a bunch of money this week on the Jeep. Added a lightbar and have a Renegade basket, factory skids, rock rails, tow hooks that should be here in a couple of days. I also or Rusty's strut plates to lift the front a little to level things out. Plenty to play with this week.

I'm voting black... I'm just not a real 'shiny' kind of guy. :D

I'll get some pics tomorrow when the sun comes up, it's a little dark to do them justice.

I give my vote Black. Definantly easier to match any future or current add-ons. Rock rails bumpers roof racks etc. I dont care for the shiny look on a jeep either.

His jeep is black so i guess it came with it. Its nothing special.

I think the black grill with some clear turn signals would look really sweet. The clear turns make the front end of a black libby look so clean.

Some people like that chrome look, and it does have its place. But I think the chrome grill is more of a street thing, not an offroading theme. I do have the factory 17in chromes though. :)

Agreed. Just my opinion, but chrome doesn't really belong on a jeep, not even my mall rated KJ.

I like a little chrome, but not door handles, mirrors, side molding, or roof rails. It makes a great accent, but it shouldn't be the most dominant feature. I've got the chrome tubular sidesteps, but those are coming off before I drive up to KY this weekend. Hopefully I can meet Moose there and put his rock rails on.

The other way to go would be to black it out, I've got the graphite wheels and bumpers, and the black painted flares. I was thinking about getting the front side windows tinted to match the back, but I'm not really sure what's legal. I'm titled in Virginia where they're strict as hell, but live in Tennessee where they could careless.

I vote for Chrome mainly because it bothers some Jeep people. (oh and chrome looks killer on black)

Seriously, do whatever YOU like. Screw what others think. Dare to be different!

I could care less about pleasing anyone with my decision. Problem is, I like both and can't make a choice. So rather than flip a coin, here it is.

Now that I realize you have a black KJ I say change it out every month or two. The chrome does look good with black and you need an excuse to clean the bugs out of your radiator

Chrome looks sweet with black. Our Ram is black with a chrome grill from the factory.

In my part of the country you would have to go with black. But, where you're from chrome might be the thing. You'll probably have to put your tires with the white lettering out also. (A big No No here)

I like the chrome on my silver KJ...because of the black accents it adds a nice transition piece to from the silver to black or vice versa...
