I hope you make it. I'd like to see your JK in action. I still need convincing on the 4-door.

I haven't picked a spot yet....

Would you be camping in the nat'l forest? What are the rules on camping there?

I've got a pop open that needs to be tried out this year, so I'm looking for a place with water...

OK folks, the boss has selected a camp site:
http://parks.ky.gov/findparks/recparks/ge/

We are going to reserve site #93 in the morning (the web site says you can reserve 2 nights, but then said we had to have 3 :x )

If everyone is going to camp, we could run it in reverse; otherwise we can run the same route, but explore some other roads too.

no, it means i'm on the phone now to reserve site #93 for 7/6-7/8. OK, looks like I can't reserve the site for only 2 days because of the holiday. :x

Yes, I'm camping there. Why don't you just camp there along the trail if you want primative?

check the national forest website, but my understanding is that you can just plop your tent down and camp....

thanks. i did find a few national forest campgrounds too. i'm not going to camp at the same campground that you are because its kinda far from the 49er. so, ill either camp next to the trail near the entrance, or i'll probably camp at s-tree.
