The new Cherokee reminds me of the old AMC Eagles.

I'm still not impressed. I think it's probably a well built machine, it's just not what I would call a Jeep Cherokee replacement.

I am optimistic about this new Cherokee. Having owned both a '79 & '86 Cherokee, all I can say is change is a good thing. I vowed to never own a Liberty when they first came out and replaced the Cherokee, but now I have one and love it. All I can say is the more Jeeps out there the better!

I was looking at some posts made by jeep engineers at jeepforum. They were about the liberty when it was new, not sure but I think KK. They said that the liberty was in a class by itself and that it didn't really compare to the rest of them because they were front wheel drive based cara with power take off for the rear and that they could never be as capable as the liberty. Hmmm, now they say best in class. Seems that they caved and made a street machine. Probably rides real nice over speed bumps.

The Jeep KJ is one of my favorite vehicles I've driven...no surprise I own one. It might look cute, but underneath we all know it can do work.

This thing...oh this thing. I have to say the looks are growing on me. I'd sure as hell take this over a CRV, Rav4, Subaru, etc. It just look too weak. There is no suspension travel at all. Any vehicle that can't fit 31" tires is not going to be good off road.

I get worried about my Jeep often because it has it's problems. I've spent over $2k this year on repairs to keep it reliable. I'm more worried that when it comes time to finally replace my Jeep, there won't be anything that fits it's place. As much as I want to buy a new vehicle, I might just be looking for an 07 KJ with low miles if Jeep continues down this road.
