Alright guys, I may have dropped the ball on this one as far as camping.
I've been trying to call the campground to make reservations for this weekend but every time I called I got nothing. It just rang, no voice mail, no one picked up, nothing.
Yesterday I did some searching around for the correct phone number(and the one I was using was the correct one) and found out that reservations for the campground we we're going to camp at you must make reservations for 2 nights of camping. And I will not be able to camp on friday night since I have to work friday night.
So, that was caused by stupidity on my part, sorry about that guys.
Unless anyone knows of another close-by camp ground we could camp at, we may not be camping saturday night.
We only need 2 tent sites since theres only 3 of us wanting to camp that night.
If you know of something PM and I'll try and get sites, or you could try yourself because I'm not sure how much I'll be around the computer today. Just let me know!!
Again, sorry for the f**k up on camping. But the meet & greet is still on 100%!!!
We called Salt Springs campground and they said that there are a lot of the campsites coming available since a lot of the "Snowbirds" are leaving. They don't require two nights on weekends and they usually have a lot of tent sites available. They have a lot of "first come, first served" sites that always show occupied on their Internet site whether there is anyone in them or not. Only thing is, they fill up fast on Fridays like all the campgrounds and with the warm weather we are having it is an iffy proposition without reservations. We are going down either Thursday or Friday and will call just before we go, but are willing to meet wherever the group decides.
