Alright guys, I may have dropped the ball on this one as far as camping.
I've been trying to call the campground to make reservations for this weekend but every time I called I got nothing. It just rang, no voice mail, no one picked up, nothing.
Yesterday I did some searching around for the correct phone number(and the one I was using was the correct one) and found out that reservations for the campground we we're going to camp at you must make reservations for 2 nights of camping. And I will not be able to camp on friday night since I have to work friday night.
So, that was caused by stupidity on my part, sorry about that guys.
Unless anyone knows of another close-by camp ground we could camp at, we may not be camping saturday night.
We only need 2 tent sites since theres only 3 of us wanting to camp that night.

If you know of something PM and I'll try and get sites, or you could try yourself because I'm not sure how much I'll be around the computer today. Just let me know!!

Again, sorry for the f**k up on camping. But the meet & greet is still on 100%!!!

We called Salt Springs campground and they said that there are a lot of the campsites coming available since a lot of the "Snowbirds" are leaving. They don't require two nights on weekends and they usually have a lot of tent sites available. They have a lot of "first come, first served" sites that always show occupied on their Internet site whether there is anyone in them or not. Only thing is, they fill up fast on Fridays like all the campgrounds and with the warm weather we are having it is an iffy proposition without reservations. We are going down either Thursday or Friday and will call just before we go, but are willing to meet wherever the group decides.

Thank you Terry! Weekend saver! lol
Could you get another camp site right next to it?
The other guy camping said him and his friend can get there friday and hold the spot.
They said two tents per site? We'd then need two sites since there's 3 of us. What we're the rates for the site?

And how the hell did you get them to answer?? I've called a million times and never got an answer. No matter what time of day it was.

Edit- Or, you and the other guy camping can pitch tents and use the site, and I'll camp out in the jeep. lol
Well, thats if my friend doesn't come along which I should know by tonight.

Hmmm, I thought we were using Rodman Dam campground. That is where my reservation is. It's already paid for and they don't give refunds so I'm stuck there.

Oh, darn. I totally forgot we changed to that. lmao!
That was totally my fault. How much was the site?? I'll call them up and see if I can get the next camp site over for saturday night. If I have to get two nights then I'll get two nights then I guess and have Toyota Jeep Man hold down the fort til I get there. :D

Just called Rodman Dam Campground. They have NO reservations available for this weekend. Last we talked with Salt Springs they had some available, but they will disappear quickly on Friday. We will probably stay at Salt Springs.

My site cost $11.00/night but that is because of my disability. The last time I tried to camp there they said they were full. So I didn't camp but went ahead and met some Jeepers there for a ride anyway. Surprise, surprise, they had 3 sites open! One of the guys even moved to a better site. My suggestion is make a reservation somewhere else, drive over to Rodman and check again. You just might get in. If not you already have a spot reserved.

I called them and they had primitive sites open, or so she said.
So I'm going to go ahead and reserve one there right now.

I got camp site 39, primitive site, she said its a decent ways away from Terry's site but no biggie really. I can drive over to Terry's site the other way around.

Who's site should we meet at?

Just thought of something. If anyone has an extra antenna rod for a magnet mount I sure could use one. My last trip to Ocala I lost my antenna. Then I went to Eglin AFB with a new magnet mount antenna and the rod came out somewhere along the way!

Well I think theres 4 of us camping, 1 of which is camping in salt springs unless they get a site at rodman. I think we should hang out at whoever has the coolest spot, which would probably be Terry's since its close to the water. :D Me and Toyota jeep man will probably be sharing a site since its 2 tents per site.

And Terry, QUIT BREAKING/LOSING CB's!!!!!! lol
You just need a permanent whip like one so it won't break and you can't lose it!! lol

Is channel 4 what we will be using? I want to tune my antenna to whatever channel you want to use.
