Not sure if this qualifies for the 4x4 section... I just got a set of front tow hooks. These are factory parts, no M bolts. Looks like I need to remove the front bumper for the install. I can't see any other way to get at the nuts. Clint posted good instructions on removing and replacing the front bumper. My question is, has anybody pulled off their bumper on an 05 Limited? Are the posted intructions accurate (or similar)? Anybody have any advice/tips from when they removed their bumper? Any regrets after removing yours? Thanks. |

You, don't need to remove the bumper. the M bolts are designed to loop thru the crossmember. I also bought a set but used exhaust clamps (can't remember the size) looped thru the same way. On the single hole side you can get a nut and washer in there. Just tighten everything down good. |
