Ok, I got that but it seems that I had read something before about having to use conduit nuts to do a clevis lift or something. That is where I am confused I was trying to find something about that...does anyone know anything about this? If not than all I have to do is pry the bottom of the strut up a bit and then retighten?

Yes, you can pry the strut assembly up in the clevis and re-clamp it to get the lift. The main reason people add the conduit nuts is to keep the strut from sliding back down into the clevis during heavy wheeling. Heres a link to a thread about using conduit nuts (with pics):

To add the conduit nuts you would have to remove the strut bottom from the clevis, then put it back in with the nuts between the strut flange and the top of the clevis. Hope this helps.
