I gotta take my KC's off and send them back, they are the black crome series 57, they are rusting and the refelctive is bubbling inside 2 of them.

I talked to the tech guys at KC highlights, all their stuff is waranteed for 23 years, i told them i wanted to upgrade to the 6x9 powder coated, they said that is cool and they could do it for $10 bucks a light with the return of the old ones

Nice... sounds like a killer upgrade.. sucks that they are rusting on you

well, i wanted to upgrade anyway.... this way it's alot cheaper...

gonna have to get a Mean Green alternator though, with my electric fans and lights, puts a heck of a draw on the alternator

We get 2 viewing today...

ok back in 15 to 20... Need to cut my hair and take a shower... this 90 + degree plus stuff is for the birds

depends on how far the drive is though, the gas tank is running unusually dry these days...

Thanks for the offer. I really would like to get this tranny in. I'm off work til the 20th with my bad shoulder so anytime you or anyone else could make it to Toledo would be great with me. Like I said I'll provide the bar-b-que fixins' and stuff. The only thing I might need as far as tools go is maybe another floor jack and some extension for the ratchet wrenches. I think we may need a real long ext. for a couple of the bell housing bolts.

Thanks all, I found a friend of a friend with a shop that's willing to change it this weekend for me for $200. Cheap Labor! The only thing is he won't touch the shift kit. So I may have to have the get together just for the shift kit next month. I have the Transgo reprogramming kit with resistor that needs soldered in to the wiring harness so we can plan that

. If it (trans) gets in this weekend maybe I can make it down to Kettering next weekend
