So the KK has a 1" taller clevis forks mount. I'm addicted to lift (thank god i dont get tatoos). so will buying the KK strut forks cause any horrible stress on the front/rear driveline (besides CVs). Figure with my current setup (4") plus the KK forks I will be at 6". The JBA 6" uses the k-frame and trans member blocks, along with new rear control arms and mounts. Can i get away without the blocks, maybe get some adjustable control arms and not have driveline problems. Of course I will get High angle CVs, extended brake lines...ect.. so keep that stuff out the answers please....its obvious. Think there will be clearance issues between the KK clevis fork and inner CV boots during stuffage? |

Lots of problems for sure, I have a set of KK clevis forks, and have been playing around with my springs and set up, its going to take some work, not a days job. Have had mine apart over 10 times and tried several different setups now for the last two weeks, still nothing I would want to run on mine also Als Gen. 5 arms not the 4.5s, reworked CVs of course |

If you go to 6" put a slip yoke eliminator on your wish list, I don't have one now but it's on mine! |

They are the same only an inch longer, which gives you two inches more lift overall. IF you used stock springs and a clevis you could do a cheap lift maybe but if you have any aftermarket springs at all you are going to need to do more than just put the KK clevis on for sure By the way with my set up I currently and using the KK clevis I was over 5 inches of lift, but would not want to even drive it out of the garage, CVs were in a lot of pain |

If i ditch the 3 ring clevis and rusty's upper strut plates i should be able throw the kk clevis in and gain about an inch correct? I'm figuring the 3 conduit nuts and strut plates are worth .75"-1". My rusty's springs sagged significantly and i cant afford new springs right now since i just bought new tires. |

But you can buy new springs almost for the cost of what the forks were. I bought a set with the understanding that IMAY be returning them and the guy agreed to it, and they were over 100 for the 2 Not sure if you could buy them cheaper if you shopped around. But why do something to raise it more when the problem is the springs? |

But why do something to raise it more when the problem is the springs? True, I think all j's sells the ome hd's for like $150 or so plus shipping which is probably another $30-$50 to NJ. To be honest I love the ride of the rusty's lift aside from the sag. I figure with the forks i can ditch the conduit nuts/strut plates and be done with it, coming out in the end with approx 1" additional. I get parts from a dealer near my work way under msrp if i order them online. If someone can get me a part# on the kk clevis forks i can compare pricing against the cost of ome springs. For some reason their site isn't loaded with 08' parts. If i can get kk clevis forks for under $100 i'll be the guinea pig and give it a try. Plus i'm lazy and dont feel like changing springs. |

Get you OME springs from ok4wd right there in Jersey, then can pick them up with no shipping. They are pretty much the same price as All J. Also you keep saying you want 1" of extra lift, as tom said, the clevis forks will give you 2" of extra lift. In all honesty, just go for the OME MD springs. It will put you up to where you were before rusty's sagged and the ride will be just as good if not better. Plus you know the OME system works, something you don't know about mixing KK parts into your current set up. Go with a trusted, proven set up, you'll be much happier in the end. and in case your worrying about different spring front and rear....i run OME up front and Rusty's out back, works fine for me, ride is great. |

yep ok 4wd is great to deal with, bought 3 sets of springs from them If you want to be the guinea pig on something thats fine, but you are opening a whole big can of worms here, you will need Als arms another 400 bucks, other CVS another 600 or so, still cheaper and easier to go OME, plus you keep saying you like Rustys ride, wait until you go OME |

you guys may have just talked some sense into me. ok 4wd is 100 miles from me. Not worth a drive but shipping can't be that bad. Think i'm gonna order up some ome hd's for the front. Jeep4me what else do you have in your setup to give you your flex-zilla 4" lift. |

Id guess a 4 ring clevis and a strut plate, but if you do that be sure to watch the CVs and get Als A-arms |

I could tell ya, but then i'd have to kill ya its basically my own lil modified franky. I just had a wierd issue pop up, so i don't wanna give away the exact setup. it should be an easy fix, but don't want anyone to run into a similar issue if they decide to reproduce it. |

Have your local machine shop take 3/8s of an inch off of your inner face of the cvs and you will be in much better shape. Jeepinbyal.com sells them also. |
