Did anybody out there installed a evic with the tpms without installing the sensors. Are you constantly getting nagged or is the function just not working? How does it reacts without the sensors?

:banghead: Our '07 had the TPMS as OEM but when I went to add some air to the front tyres before we started the drive back from London to Italy after picking it up both caps separated from the valve stems (found out this is very common on all makes, not just the KJ), so I took it to a tyre shop and had them replace all 4 sender units with conventional valves.

Now the EVIC is constantly telling me the pressures are low AND the amber warning symbol in the dash is always on; sure would be great if there was a way to disable the TPMS. Or else I'll just have to purchase two replacement sender units.......................... :5SHOTS:
