The repair kits are the same, doesn't matter brand they will all have the same issue. The boot style used on the transfer case side can catch a rock or other debris in it, which chews up the boot. Until someone offers an accordion style boot as a replacement nothing will change. I suggest checking the boot every oil change.
Just discovered that
http://www.driveshaftparts.com has recognized that there is a problem with the boot and they have made it available separately from the CV bearing, so if you catch it when the boot is just starting to go you can save some money. I just ordered two of the boot kits to have them on hand.
