I wouldn't think that a limited slip differential and ESP would play well together at ALL. ESP operates by applying the brakes to the wheel that slips, thus transferring power to the other wheel. a Trash-Lock uses the differential to accomplish the same task. You probably don't want two competing systems in there, unless you have them BOTH on switches.
My suggestion is to get a real rear locker on a switch and never use ESP and the locker at the same time.
You might be surprised how well ESP does at keeping you moving. It's a different principle than a locker (locker would keep both wheels spinning at the same rate, regardless of traction, ESP/LSD will try to prevent one wheel from losing traction and spinning helplessly). The only time I can imagine you'll have major issue with ESP vs a locker is when you have very low traction on all wheels, and ESP will be so busy applying the brakes it won't actually transfer much power at all.
