I just did a replacement on my 05 due to a low ride bounce and noise everytime I hit a bump in the road. I didn't replace the tie rod ends because the boots were good and the unit swiveled well. I wanted to share a couple hints I found.
You need to take off the caliper and rotor, and unbolt the upper ball joint fro the knuckle and swivel the upper arm up. No need to unbolt the tie rod end or sway bar. I unbolted the upper clevis bolt, then the lower. Unbolt the four anchors inside the engine bay and then use a socket or something inside the space of the upper clevis bolt space and bolt in a torque the bolt from the wrong side. This will force the celvis opening open a little and you can separate the coil tower and remove it.
