Yep, just a turndown after the muffler, before i did the turndown it was just straignt, but i was afraid it was going to melt the wiring harness on the front of the back axle, so i turned it down. now it actually sounds a lot better, not to mention the sound reflects up, so it seems a bit louder!

The original idea was to turn it out the side in front of the back wheel, but the muffler is too long, so i'd have to make a 'U'-ish shaped pipe to fit, and that was going to HIT the back axle, so that wouldn't work.

And as an added bonus, when i take it off, the piece i take off is a little over 2' long, only weighs about ten pounds, and takes about 15 seconds to remove.

Do you have a hanger on the muffler?

This muffler sounds great, especially when combined with a high flow air filter, and it only cost me $24, the install took about 5 minutes, with a reciprocating saw, and a hacksaw to save the flange at the stock muffler, i had to cut it off right up against the body of the muffler.

Im getting it welded soon for $10 at the local 4x4 shop, even though it is fine when clamped like it is, i wish i still had my welder  .

No, there is no hanger, i overestimated the wieght a bit. prolly 7lbs, and it is bolted to the Y pipe with the cats on it. not heavy enough to need a hanger.

The stock exhaust only has one hanger that actually holds the pipe up, and it is way up behind the rear wheel. the one at the end of the pipe just keeps the tip from bouncing up and down, all the weight of the exhaust was resting on the flange, the hanger was for balance.
