The traction is unreal with the soft compound, and makes them really good street tires, not very noisy, and the siping is great in the snow, ice, and rain. With the soft compound though, I doubt I'll get any kind of great mileage out of them.
Harder compound = longer mileage, less traction.
Softer compound = less mileage, more traction.
