if you go look at the retread - website - Goodyear and Michelin when they retread - they do xray or ultrasound on incoming cores Treadwright site only mentions an inspection - so I'd ask.

I'm not too sure how much hot temp would effect Treadwrights, not enough experience with them. But for the two people here, NY and Rhode Island, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
The reviews I had gotten from them convinced me to buy the Treadwrights, and I love them so far. Keep in mind, I'm 18 and getting ready to be a college freshman, and this all came from MY pocket. So budget was a big factor.
