What happen with the Ram anyways ?
Well around 12k miles I was checking all the fluids in my truck before i left for orlando and noticed that the coolant tank was empty. So i went to the auto parts, topped it off and left for orlando. When i got back i checked it again and the coolant disappeared again. There was no leak or and smoke so i knew it wasn't leaking and my engine held perfect pressure. So i took it to the dealer 3 times and all the times they kept doing the same pressure test and couldn't come up with a problem. So after i appllied for lemon law, they sent down an engineer from detriot for the 4th and final repair attempt required by florida lemon law. He couldn't figure it out either. I told them that i noticed when i changed my oil last that is has a milky color came out with the oil as well. So it was probably being consumed through the heads somewhere. Who knows? I don't care i'm getting a new car out of it. Oh and since that happened i now have 28k miles on it and it just turned a year old.

From what I read of the original post, it looks like he is settling with Chrysler out of court. That's no doubt why they are trying to wrangle extra fees, etc out of the poor guy. Had it gone to court, it may have been a totally different story, depending on the state's lemon laws. Each state has their own laws regarding lemon vehicles.
Even though i did settle it out of court my cousin ,who is a consumer law lawyer, guided my through the whole process and dealt with them with me on speaker phone whenever i had any doubts. He told me that usually most people end up paying the full usage fee and really get ripped a new one lol. So i'm happy the way it turned out. My gf's aunt got lemon law on her lexus like 4 years ago and actually lost 7k from what she had paid off going to court. With me they are going to possibly eliminate it or reduce it to three thousand. And they actually have to pay my cousin like 5k now for being my advisor lol.
