ok i went and got some alum. rings cut to do a "clevis" lift that from what i read will give me about 1" of lift with a 3/8" spacer?
got the material and the cut for free i can cut the center
i cant find info how ever that shows just how an upper strut spacer would fit?
from looking at the KJ it looks like all i need is a spacer and longer bolts?
if thats the case and we want to get about another 3/4 to maby 1" could i get the same guy to cut me a pcs of 3/4" material maby the same alum as the spacer dubbled up and get a spacer lift that would still keep the KJ parking garge friendly but not look like a low rider?
and if i did this would i net about 1.75" of lift but keep the factory ride?
would this kill ubj's and lbj's?
if it would work then just a spacer for the rear? from where?
i would of corse add length to the front and rear bumpstops that is easy
to do a clevis lift i will need a spring compressor but what about a spacer on top?are the struts assembled on a bech and the put in the jeep or is the compressor needed to remove the strut?


as most folks can tell i am a cheep b@#$*&d ad would rather save $ and build it my self then go out and pay some other shmo to do what i could do for 1/10 the price

also worst case but still being cheep does rock road sell parts for their lifts?
all this is for an '03 so it is "lowered"

you don't even need a spring compressor for a clevis lift...

i know where it goes i was more wandering about all the other stuff and mostly about the upper strut spacer
how much lift did that yeild?
