My drive to Kaiserslautern Germany yesterday netted me on A63 100-110 mph. At about 132 miles I have used a little less than half a tank with a heavy foot.

Another note it seems everytime I post about driving at these speeds my posts get deleted. Who ever is doing it please stop it now. These speeds are legal here. 90+ MPH for me in NORMAL.

I've been up to 110mph as a quick test, but with my lift kit on it did not feel all that stable - I imagine the stock height is much better. I know that 90mph in mine feels tight as ever.

I started the CRD up this afternoon after a business call and headed back to the office but it didn't sound right and it was sluggish. Then the CEL came on. I was in the "Limp" mode..........somehow I expected limp to be different and perhaps simply resolved with one of those pills advertised during NFL games.......I digress. It so happened that the dealer was between me and the office and I was due for a service that I had planned anyhow so off we go to the dealer.

There were actually two codes, P0725 and P0765. They were new to the dealer and did not re-appear after reset and there were no problems on the test drive. They referred to bad engine speed data reading or something of the sort apparently to the tranny. I then told him about my recent experience with the faulty cruise control which he felt may be related. He has faxed the factory and asked me to check back on Thur or Fri before I head out on the road next week. He did tell me that there was a brand new TSB out for the transmission (July 14) that supercedes the last one (for new failures so don't expect it to be done just 'cause you want it). He told me that he had two CRD's with a TC lock up issue that he had contacted DC about and they told him there were 8 others in CO with the exact same problem. Apparently te new TSB is the DC response to that issue but as he read it my problems were not mentioned.
