Assuming neither one of us gets cold feet, I'm getting married on August 12th. For our honeymoon we're going to drive to Niagara Falls, then head East and spend a week in the White Mountains & Acadia National Park.

I'm looking for some spots to do some wheeling (btw no lift kit...yet...), in Maine particularly, but if there are any must-sees I will stop for them. I'm starting in Bristol, TN (near where TN, VA, NC come together) and driving north through WV past Pittsburg, up to Erie and on to Buffalo. Then east to Bangor, ME. I'm going to stay as far away from Boston as I can, and take the scenic route.

Any suggestion on where to stop along the way?

Maybe check with the NPS and see if they have some wheeling areas in their parks. I know Denali (in Alaska) has one, or at least my friend found some wheeling there this summer when he went up there? By the way...CONGRATS and best wishes!!!!

CONGRATS :D us northeasterners haven't been wheelin in Maine yet so I don't think any of us know & there aren't many of us from there maybe 2 we usualy go to NH on class IV roads

Maine is also a place you realy don't want to go wheelin alone you can get lost very easy or stuck & cell phone reception is hit or miss in the woods not trying to scare ya at all thats just what I've been told

Awsome! Be sure to take the boat below the falls that takes you right up in them and soaks you!! they give you little blue things to wear, but there not that good. I think it called Maid in the Mist?

Does your wife have a sister?
Preferably in her 20's and looking to get married?

Where's the "Set up your single L.O.S.T. buddy" thread any how?

There will be nothing in PA that is "legal" except Paragon and Rausch Creek and they are on the eastern side of the state. There are a few places I go, and would be a bit out of your way, but if you are interested, PM me.
