Remove existing short hose from CCV side, long 3/4 inch hose slip it on the CCV, plug existing hose to turbo, run your 3/4 inch hose down the side of the engine and wire tie it a few places to something no real hot like the exhaust, your done.

I'm running the open vent too. At 10,000 miles I pulled the intercooler hoses and looked inside - oily black slime was streaked down them. So I did the open vent mod, and 2500 miles later the hoses are still black, but dry, with no new oil deposits (I didn't clean the hoses out). There is some oily residue deposited on my skidplate at the end of the vent hose, and sometimes steam is visible in the headlights rising from the front of the vehicle when stopped. That confused me at first. :?
