Well rumor has it that OME struts handle the weight of the bumper and winch better. I have the ARB bumper and the winch with the OME struts but not having owned the standard rancho struts I can't really say they are better.

All in all the OME struts are doing there job perfect.

Is it the struts, or is it the coils?

I've heard that OME coils are better at handling winches + bumpers compared to other brands of coils. Haven't heard much about the sock/struts.

ome is a nitrocharge shock which is typcially firmer, so with heavier loads it's going to ride much better.

ome is good quality. makes great shocks and springs. alot of R&D goes into thier product, so everything is going to fit right and work as intended.

I actually talked to Quinn about this before ordering my Frankenlift. I think that is your best bet. He was HONEST with me about the difference or lack thereof in the two struts. The guys down at All J are great. If you want to know....go straight to the source. :D

I went with the OME struts. My reasoning is that it is better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Plus, spending that much on a lift a hundred extra bucks isn't that much. Quinn said that over extended milage....I believe he said 100,000, the OME's last a bit longer. Ask him to be sure tho...
