Welcome to the area Will! Glad to see you made it safe. Did you take any picts of the KJ loaded for your cross-country expedition?
There aren't any places to wheel here. I have to drive 2 hours to find a hill to ride my mountain bike on (unless you like riding up and down Mt. Trashmore, which...trust me...I've done before). That's why I bought a Nylint 1:6 Jeep Rock Crawler. I take that bad little RC truck into First Landing State park and wheel away!
I'm going to be heading out of town on September 1st for a canoeing trip around Scottsville. Sorry guys. But I do still have a fuel tank skid and a front-mount receiver hitch to install. And I'm going to soon have a new soft-top for my wife's Miata to install. Maybe we need to have that install beach party before long. Sept 9th and 16th look good for now.
And as far as the misconseption that Pit mixes are dangerous...my dog Lou is a Black Lab and Pit mix. To all those who have met Lou...let the laughter begin.

Thankfully, the place I got Lou from labelled him "Black Lab and Chow mix," so I can honestly say "No" when asked by insurance companies. Only I and my new vet have ever determined that he's part Pit.
