Quick poll for anyone who will be posting before I leave early in the morning. The forecast is calling for a 40% chance of rain. I am bringing the Wrangler. I only have the hardtop right now. Should I take it off or leave it on?

I got the forecast from my weatherbug. As for your link, where is Camp Hill in relation to Rausch? I put in Tremont, Pa though and it still only gave a 25% chance. I also tried weather.com and it said 20% chance. So I might be able to go topless after all. :D

Camp Hill is right next to Rausch

If you do it just make sure that you bundle up for the ride up in the morning. It can get a little chilly.

What time do we plan on packing it in? Should I bring something to eat/drink?

Oh man Jason-we missed you! Hope the shoulders better!

Let's see, the afternoon was pretty busy. After parking Hot Gris and you leaving, two Rubi's and myself split off to do some blacks, met back up, had lunch, took a wrong turn and ended up at the entrance to Rock Creek, got scared, turned around, did some deep ruts, unixxx lost a flare (in the same exact spot the same exact way I did a few months ago), split off to do some more blacks, popped a bead, fixed that, bailed on the blacks and then some of us got stung by bees.

It was a really good time! :D

Dave is the KJ king of the blacks!

The day turned out good. My jeep might have let me down, but I got to show my nephew visiting from Utah a good time by taking him down the black trails in a rubicon.

Yes, Dave was the KJ master of blacks. It's too bad Gris's radiator fan died and Jason had to head back. As Dave said, I tore my door flare off and dented the door at exactly the same obstacle/place he did. I've gotta stop procrastinating and get those Rock Lizard Super Skinks. I guess I missed the bee stinging part  I'll post my pics tomorrow when I pull them off the camera; it took me a little longer to get home than expected. Overall, excellent run

 Nah-I'm no master of blacks-just a curious guy that wanted to step it up a level. The first black was a blast with more technical obstacles one after another. The second was just a trail of glacial rock deposits that were just too big for my lil beast on 31's.

As most have already posted the day was very full with trails, trail repairs, good people and bee stings.

I knew going into it that the park was going to be full because of Camp Heep going on. But the only issue we had with them was we could not start at Lower 3 like I wanted us to. So we went on down the park and started on another trail I had set up for us. On the first trail, the new Wrangler owners found out there are many things that need to be upgraded. Such as the tie rod, Dave (cheifdab) popped off a stump and busted through his. This would usually end the day and require a roll back but there was this guy that had this shirt on that read "Trust me, I do this all the time" His name Damon. He had upgraded his that week and had brought his old ones with him. Within a half an hour he was back up and running. At that same spot I learned that LJ means LONG JEEP as I high centered it on a nice hill climb. And had to have Dave (Davekj) to pull we off. We had a slight mishap on trail 10 at the start and went to Rock Creek not a good place for anything but a rock buggy. I found mud that at my Rubi and we lost a fender flair. The only other mishap was Gris losing his fan. Thanks to everyone that made it. And the bee stings, well my grilfriend Jen was walking along wth Daves son Conner and stepped on an underground nest of little yellow jackets, she took about 3 stings to her leg, one on her hand and another went down her sock and stung her on the ankle. They chased her and found Dave (cheifdab) and he took one on the eyelid. So, just remember we are out in the woods with nature. I will have my pics up soon.

sounds like good times!! we had ttroubles with our dog eating a big special dark bar!! 15 pound dog verse 1/2 pound dark choc bar. she has not been very well so thats why we didnt make it, we were watching her right up to the last minute but i didnt feel comfortable leaving her home! but i feel your pain with the bees, i got 15 stings from ground bees at once and found out at the ER that im allergic to bees, so now i got those cool little epipens to carry around! sorry bout your eye dave!!! that hurts me thinking about it!
we spent all week getting the jeep ready to go and the dog screws us, glad i dont have kids, but i know we will hook up on the next run. great pics, got anymore?

That would be DaveKJ02. I think he did it on purpose. He just wanted to show off what his new ARB toy can fix. :-)r

Great pic's guys. Looks like a missed a fun afternoon. Sorry to hear about the damage.

Jason

Dave don't worry I'm just jealous. But not for long.
