Is it possible to lift a 2003 (and newer) KJ with the factory pre lowered (2001-2002) springs and shocks?
If yes, do I only need the springs or do I have to get the pre- lowered shocks too.
The thing is I need a bit more height but the insurance company's over here are not happy with alterations so if i can keep everything original by using the original Jeep parts I can probably get away with it.

some people use stock struts with 2.5" lifts so a Prelowered spring would be fine with your struts if they are in good shape. Throw a bit of Clevis lift or a small spacer above the strut(3/8" plate steel or something) that shouldn't be too obvious.

Yup, all you need are the springs. I would go ahead and get the OME springs and lift it alittle more for a total of 1.5in's. You may need new front shocks for that though.

I'm about to get pre-lowered springs for my '05...

Has the suspension been reworked since '02 or will the pre-lowered springs fit on my '05 Renny?

A 3/8" clevis lift (moving the strut up in the clevis) will give the same results with no cost and a lot less effort.

Nothing has changed, just different springs throughout the years.

wondering about your springs.....

i would like to get a set also, what part numbers did you order, it seems there are a couple of dozen different part #'s.

also, how do they feel ? , seem any looser (more roll) when you turn, or the same.

i would love to lift my jeep .75", preferably with springs that have a hair more spring rate.

please, let me know about those part #'s
