It's an '05 midnight blue beauty. Just picked it up lastnight. It has 16,000 miles on it. I am so excited to finally be a KJ owner! If I knew how to upload pics here I would show you all, but I'm sure you've seen one just like mine befoe :) This weekend the General Grabber AT2's are going on to get rid of the horrrrrrible stockers. My previous Cherokee had Revo's so driving the Renny home from the dealership in the rain lastnight was freightening! One question, how do I make my key stop making the horn beep when I lock the doors?? Sure I'll have many many more questions :)

First off congratulations on your new KJ. I love how the new Renny's look. If you have an EVIC (the overhead console thing) I believe you can set it to not beep the horn when you lock the doors with your key. I'm sure someone here will chime in and know exactly how to fix it.

Nice rennie. Here's the info you wanted.
hold Door lock 4-10 seconds, then panic button and let go of both = disable / enable horn chirp

Make sure you keep the lock button held down when you press the panic button.

You might have a manual after all................

There is this little, virtually invisible, shelf inside the glove compartment door and on top of the glove compartment just big enough for the manual in it's little khaki canvas bag. Check it out.

I checked and it's not there :( Oh well, I guess I can just come to you fine friends with any questions until I get the manual. And does anybody know why the turn signal click is so loud??!!! Anyway to disengage that noise??
