Looking to install a winch in my ARB winch bar (2002 KJ). Does anyone know which of the Warn series of winches will fit? I've searched the site and it seems that a 9.5XP will fit but anything else? What about a Ti? And how about some of the winches on offer from other manufacturers? Superwinch etc. Any help would be appreciated...I don't want to buy the wrong one!

Cheers Rob

I think any of the non-i models will fit . Well, except for the 12000 and 15000.

Since the winch mounts inside the bumper you have to have the low profile style. The "i"s have the integrated controller and this won't fit. Keep in mind that the winch mounts feet first so what you see in the pictures as the front of the winch will actually be facing up. You'll have to drill extra holes in the roller fairlead so that it fits.

If you want to get rid of the wire and go with Synth there are aluminum hawse fairleads designed for this type of application. Most fairleads have have the mounting holes that line up in the center of the cable feeding slot.. As I understand it th fairleads for the feet first applications have the mounting holes aligned more with the bottom edge of the cable feeding slot.. When you see the 2 you'll get what I mean.
