Well I had the craziest thing happen to me today. I was wheeling with the club today and a tree sideswiped me while trying to back down a hill. I now have a resessed drivers door handle and what looks like a couple parking lot door dings. My girlfriend tends to be oblivious at times so I'm not going to tell her and hope she takes my KJ somewhere tomorrow. When she gets home I'm going to go somewhere and come back. Upon returning I'm going to yell "WTF did you do to my jeep". I figure this will hopefully keep me out of hot water. All because a tree ran into my poor innocent KJ. I'll post some pics tomorrow when I have more daylight and sleep.

Yeah, that burns me when those trees don't watch where they're going, and then flip you off with a branch to boot.

That sucks about the tree. I really don't see that plan with the GF ending well though.

Sounds about like my 2" deep "scratch" a tree did to my rear passenger door. It's a jeep that wheels Parakeet, be proud of that battle damage, don't blame the poor girl.

Oh yea the tree was fine. It was kinda funny looking at the side of my jeep you can see the dent all around the door handle and a brown scrape on the handle. Further down the drivers side was 4 hand prints of the guys that pushed my jeep off the tree while I was being winched out to prevent anymore damage. But the upside I wasn't the worst victim, one of the guys dropped his rear driveshaft and front lockouts, and a fender flair, the other guy bent his tye rod. The best part is there are no pics of me being winched.

i've done worse  backed up my other car thru the garage 2 yeara ago, and knocked the garage off of it's left hinge. also, backed a lexus thru the garage too, but luckily no damage done. the best: when i was married, backed up our brand new truck into the back of a vehicle parked sideways and put a nice dent above the back light, and didnot tell my husband (at the time) so we went out to the movies, and we came out and he was like wtf, and thought someone @ the movies did it! Until, I finally confessed. my last car befor the kj, i had a neon, had it for 2 days, and hit a pole @ work .. no damage, just some paint taken off...... thought this would give all you guys a good laugh! but, dont blame the tree on your gf.... thats just plain mean unless you want to be in the doghouse for a few days! :)

My wife can never complain to me about anything I do in a car or offroading. About 10 years ago, she accidentally drove her car into our brick apartment building. Yes, a friggin' BUILDING! The front end and tires crashed through a recessed ground-floor window. Luckily, the apartment she hit was vacant. Scared the crap out of everyone! Oh well, at least that's almost guaranteed to never happen again.
