I have an 2005 renegade, last friday it started making a noise from
the rear passenger side on left turns. close to dealer so i stop in. tech goes for a ride hears noise, puts up on lift. pulls off tire and says its brakes. I ask them to check front so they do and they are better than half. I ask why backs would be bad and fronts fine and they just give stupid look. I suggested maybe sticky caliper or slides maybe even proportioning valve, they said never happened to any other liberties they have seen. So no service done yet till i hear back from jeep. Sorry so long just curios if anybody has any ideas.

Don't know what to say. I have 46K on mine and still the original pads and rotors. The rear pads do look like they are wearing a little faster than the front, but I still have another 5k easily before in need of replacement.

21k and I cannot tell anything as worn front or rear. Maybe a sticky caliper like you said?

My front brakes went and my rotors were warped in my cavalier at 13,000 miles and it doesnt have traction control or abs. Otherwise I never replaced brakes on a vehicle with less than 40,000 miles on them.
