How loud do you usually listen to your stereo when your driving around by yourself. I'm usually around 23 on the stock stereo whenever I have Seether or something good in.

I've got a stock 02 stereo. (At least I dont think I have the premium system). On a side note, I've actually got Korn's "Politics" going on iTunes right now.

About 75% of the time mine reads max. Bass set at 5 or 6. Treble set at 8. There is a reason I got the KJ with the Infinity system in it.

Wow. My bass and treble are about at where you are. How do you tell if you have the Infinity without the build sheet? Do the Libertys have the Silver Badging on the interior pillar like Dodge does?

People look at me like I am insane all the time!! I have a pretty decent system and soon to be even better. I use it like it is intended for. I love the feeling of having a concert in my KJ!!! The people thinking I am insane...... Well All i listen to is heavey metal, so when you pull up next to a dude blaring Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Silent Civilian and the like(insert headbanging smiley dude here), you kinda get some looks! :? And every now and then I will slide over to a few country songs I like(yeah I know  ), well the people who know me and what i normally listen to really give me some looks then!!!

My '06 has the Infinity deal, plus I added the Mopar sub under the driver's seat which was pretty much a waste of $200. I keep mine on 32 most of the time, a few burned CDs have lower volume so I can get them up to the max at 38 without blowing the speakers. I know the limits since I have already replaced two under warranty. I'm like Kolesy, metal rules my ears. Typically All That Remains, Bullet For My Valentine, In Flames, Rammstein, or whatever they are cranking at Hardattack on Sirius.

Tool? what kind of tools are you using in the KJ? Corn? Don't get me started on the danger of eating while driving!

It depends on the music, don't you think?

For something soft, mellow like Yanni, John Tesh or Cusco I keep it around 14-16 (unless the tires get too loud then it's a toss up with the next)

For something like Funker Vogt, Front 242 or some techno-industrial, it's 20-22 on up. I don't think I have room for aftermarket woofers and stuff since storage space is at a permium for me ... you single guys are lucky :P

I have an aftermarket Kenwood HU, I usually keep it at 15-20, depends how good the song is.

My KJ is an '03, so it doesn't say what the volume is at, but if I'm driving above 40 with the windows down and the sunroof open I haveto turn it up all the way, and it still isn't loud enough usually. And I don't like a level where it hurts my ears, the stock system (non-infinity) is just underpowered.
