Fuse Box/ Electric Source question

I wanted to run some aux power for some items and I have already run through the firewall (thanks to the always so helpful folks on here).

My question is this....I saw a pic (again on here) of someone who had tapped a minifuse for power. I have seen this done with full size fuses but all the car part places around here look at me like I'm from another planet when I explain the concept.

Does anyone have any thoughts/idea/links etc? or am I just ocnfusing you all too??

What you want is called an "ADD-A-CIRCUIT". I got mine from PepBoys. Here is a link incase you cant find it there.

Littlefuse calls it a "Mini Add-A-Circuit" PN# FHM200BP or 0FHM0200ZP (both #s on the package) $6.99 at AutoZone.
UPC is 079458-035094
Comes w/4 fuses 3, 5, 7.5, 10 amp

On the back of the package it says "Not designed for circuits requiring more than 10 amps".
