If you need a remote starter you are not manly enough to drive a CRD

Well, I absolutely love my remote start for my CRD! I live in appartments on the 2nd level and in the winter it's nice to come out to a warm car. The Mopar remote start will let the engine run for 10 or 15 minutes then shuts the engine off if you haven't used the key by then. I have it set to 10 minutes and in the winter it does get up to mormal operating temperature within 10 minutes. Even when it's like +5 F degrees outside. so :-P I use my remote start almost every day.

I've had a remote start on my crd since jan. It gets pretty cold up in north Jersey, and the hell i'm going to drive to work in a cold car. I had the guy who installed mine put a 5 second delay once its in accessory mode so the glow plugs have time to heat up. no matter how cold it is, when i go out 5-10 minutes later, the engine is nice and warm and within a minute or 2 more hot air is warming the cabin.

And those of you who live in jersey know there is no such thing as "driving easy" when you take the polaski skyway to work. Its either 0-60 within 10 feet or you'll have a nice hybrid jeep-civic within no time. So its either the starter, or I'm going to be flooring it when its cold. Not a hard choice.
