You heard me. I just filled up all of my 5 gallon cans with $2.19 gas. Given my run of luck, you are all very welcome for the drop in gas prices that are sure to follow

How bad are the prices in other regions?

Filled up the other day for $2.41 in Mesa, seeing pretty much the same in Tempe. JUst checked the local listing and the cheapest I'm seeing is $2.34. I'm hoping it at least breaks the $2 barrier

gas prices in the northern cincinnati area are at an all time low of ~

$2.06/gal !!!

you know what i dont understand? when gas prices are through the roof, you have all media outlets crying out about why gas prices are so high, you know, the middle east craziness, russia strongarming their neighbors and such...
but when gas prices fall $1 from where they were a year ago, no one makes a sound, no "go fill your car up, because we dont know when gas prices will go up". you never hear a reason why gas prices have FALLEN from the same media outlets that are raising hell when gas is $3/gal.

WTF?? okay, im finished ranting. continue on....

So between you and InCommando, it looks like I was right, and it has continued to drop... (and that $3 gas was only months ago)

The news stations here said last night that after September 15(today) the prices will really start to drop and to expect it well below $2.00/gallon real soon. I believe it since it's only $2.09/gallon today. What's amazing is that this is not a $1 less than last year, but more like a 1$ less than just 1 month ago!!!
